Memberships
Alis commenced as Objects Conservator with ICS in April 2021.
Educated in Romania, Alis gained her Master’s degree in Art Conservation from the Bucharest National University of Arts in 2008.
Alis has built an extensive portfolio in artwork conservation and restoration. She has a strong background with panel paintings and polychrome surfaces, and maintains an interest in contemporary art. Alis works with a wide variety of art techniques and materials (both organic and inorganic), both in-situ and in the laboratory.
At ICS Alis has worked across all teams in the company. Her main project in the Objects and Outdoor Heritage team has been the conservation of four mid-century modern polymer chandeliers designed by Flos.
