Kacey joined ICS as an Objects Conservator in October 2025. She holds a Master of Science in Art Conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation.
Previously, Kacey worked at a variety of institutions including museums, historical societies, archives, and regional conservation labs. She brings with her a diverse treatment experience that encompasses inorganic, organic, and composite objects. She has a particular interest in three-dimensional paper objects or objects with complex paper components.

In addition to her treatment experience, Kacey also enjoys incorporating scientific research and preventive conservation knowledge into her practice. She has worked extensively with a variety of analytical techniques for materials analysis. Her preventive experience includes collection assessments, disaster recovery, and implementation of integrated pest management systems.
