Liam joined the ICS Paper Conservation Team in 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Cultural Materials Conservation, specialising in paper conservation. In his work, Liam carries out a variety of conservation tasks including surface cleaning, tear repairs, backing removals, washing and flattening. He also deals frequently with mould and water damaged work and can provide advice for preventive storage and display measures in tropical climates. He previously worked as a paper conservator at RSM Art Conservation in Brisbane, the St Magdalene of Nagasaki Conservation Lab at Museo Recoletos in Manila, and as a conservation volunteer at the Royal Historical Society of Victoria during his conservation training.
