Lucy is a conservator specialised in the treatment of easel paintings. She holds a Master of Cultural Materials Conservation from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Paintings) from the Victorian College of the Arts.
Prior to joining ICS, Lucy worked for private conservation studios in Melbourne and as a Graduate Painting Conservation Intern at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) in Brisbane. Lucy is skilled in assessing materials and techniques and treating paintings of varied age and materials. Lucy has a particular interest in the treatment of oil paintings, Indigenous Australian paintings, and contemporary artworks. Lucy also has experience in treating murals, heritage buildings, and works on paper.
