Our projects

We are the go-to team for the conservation of all types of cultural heritage.  Preserving heritage is vital for every community, and is often accompanied by technical, material and logistical problems. Our work is to save objects and artworks from deterioration, whether caused by natural aging, use or abuse, threats of pollution, or destruction brought about by natural disasters and a changing climate.

We work in Australia and beyond, including New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Antarctica. Our conservation and collection management professionals embrace all challenges with dedication and pragmatism.

Mosman’s Bay is an oil on canvas painted by Australian impressionist Tom Roberts (1856-1931) in 1894. ICS was tasked by New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) to return Mosman’s Bay to an excellent overall appearance and stability.
